Design, Ergonomics & Durability
This device excels in durability, boasting a strict IP68 rating (water-resistant up to 2 meters for 30 minutes) and is MIL-STD-810H compliant. Weighing 204 grams, it comes in a variety of stunning color options like Thermo Orange, Mirage Green, and Dive Blue.
Display Quality & Refresh Rate
The smartphone features a 6.76-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel. Although it lacks an AMOLED display, its ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 950 nits (HBM) ensure great usability and outdoor visibility.
Performance & Gaming Capabilities
Powered by the highly capable MediaTek Dimensity 7100 (6nm) processor alongside a Mali-G610 MC2 GPU and LPDDR4X RAM, the device can effortlessly handle multitasking and heavy gaming sessions without significant lag.
Software & User Experience
Out of the box, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro runs on the latest Android 16 operating system, paired with Infinix’s highly customized XOS 16 interface. It is also promised to receive up to 3 major Android upgrades.
Primary Rear Camera Performance
The back holds a 50MP main camera (f/1.8) backed by a Dual-LED flash and an auxiliary lens. It offers reliable details in daylight and supports 1440p video recording, though it misses out on an ultrawide sensor.
Selfie Camera & Video Recording
The front-facing 8MP camera (f/2.0) is quite basic but gets the job done for standard selfies and video calling. Similar to the rear camera, it also supports up to 1440p video recording at 30fps.
Battery Endurance & Fast Charging
A massive 6000mAh Li-Po battery guarantees extended daily usage. When it’s time to juice up, the provided 45W fast wired charging refills the battery efficiently. It also offers 10W reverse wired charging and bypass charging for intense gaming sessions.
Security, Audio & Connectivity
It comes equipped with 5G connectivity, a fast side-mounted fingerprint sensor, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, stereo speakers, and a classic 3.5mm headphone jack with Hi-Res audio support.
Final Verdict & Overall Value
Priced at BDT 36,999, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro is a solid mid-range smartphone. While the inclusion of an IPS panel and a basic 8MP selfie camera might disappoint some, its durable IP68/MIL-STD-810H build, excellent 144Hz screen, solid Dimensity 7100 chipset, and massive 6000mAh battery make it an attractive option for power users.
